Lorenzo Bresciani
Founder, Manifesto
Lorenzo founded insight and brand strategy consultancy Manifesto in 2015. The company has undertaken brand strategy, innovation and insight consulting work for some of Australian’s best known companies: Oroton, Zip, Optus, ubank, 7-Eleven, King Gee, Aussie Home Loans, Volley, MYOB, amaysim, Asahi, Treasury Wine Estates, ANZ, Schweppes, RACV and Austin Health.
He has lead a pioneering approach to brand strategy that focuses on brands as an organising principle for the entire customer experience rather than viewing brands as just about advertising and communication. This approach draws heavily on consumer psychology and aligning brand strategy to the growth ambitions for an organisation.
Prior to Manifesto Lorenzo was Managing Director of DDB Melbourne. During his time as Managing Director the agency created outstanding and award winning creative work while growing profitability by over thirty percent.
Since 2000, Lorenzo has worked as a brand strategist for advertising agencies here in Australia, the UK and USA. He was Brand Strategy Director for Goodby, Silverstein and Partners in San Francisco where he was responsible for global brand and communication strategy for Hewlett Packard's personal computer division.
He also worked for seven years in London at what is now Adam & Eve DDB and as Head of Planning for Lowe London. He was responsible for brands including Volkswagen, John Lewis, Stella Artois, Beck's and a number of global Unilever brands.
Lorenzo started his career with Accenture in 1993 in the strategy consulting division where he worked for eight years. Lorenzo writes on brands and communication strategy and his work has been published in the international Journal of Brand Strategy.
He is currently on the Melbourne Grammar School Council where he chairs the Marketing And Community Relations Committee and was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of Berry Street
